I am writing to apply for collaboration with your translation agency as a freelance translator. I have been working since 2017 and have handled documents related to various fields such as Health (I had a six-week internship at the Ministry of Public Health of Cameroon, where I translated plethora of health related documents), ITC, Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, Web content, marketing, administration and governance, building construction, and agriculture, from English/German into French.
I hold a Master’s degree of Arts in Translation (English/German into French), a Bachelor’s degree in English and French, and a Machine Translation Post-editing Certification from SDL Trados.
My skills have been serving many clients on translation platforms such as Upwork.com, and the translation agencies such as Supertext, Lingy.Pro, QTrans Language Solution Global, and CCJK. I am also subcontracting with other translators, who usually send me parts of their projects to translate or to revise.
During my training as a translator, I was taught how to translate in Trados and Wordfast and am using them efficiently.
Besides my skills and experience, I am very hardworking and committed to producing high quality translations while meeting deadlines.
